Men’s College Squash 2012 Individual Championships: Pool Trophy Semi Final – Harvard and Trinity (Video)

Amherst, MA — At the 2012 College Squash Individual Championships, Harvard’s Ali Farag and Trinity’s Vikram Malhotra played in the semi finals of the Pool Trophy (A Division).

The match’s was competitive, sometimes inventive play in the first game delighted the crowd, and the score was tight throughout. It looked like Malhotra would take the game, but Farag came back to win in tiebreakers, 13-11. The second game was an entirely different story. Farag went up 10-0 before Malhotra got on the board; Farag won the second game 11-1. The third game was closer than the second, and Malhotra hit some dizzying shots. But Farag was always there, and he advanced to the final with an 11-4 win. Farag defeated Columbia’s Ramit Tandon to claim the Pool Trophy.

Below is video of the first game between Farag and Malhotra.
