Hartford, CT — At the 2012 New England Small Conference Athletic Association Team Championships, Bowdoin and Wesleyan met.
Wesleyan won the team match 5-4, which avenged an earlier 4-5 loss to the Polar Bears. Bowdoin finished the season ranked 19th, while Wesleyan concluded the year ranked 23rd in the nation.
At the match at the #6 position, Andrew Ward (Bowdoin) faced Alex Nunez (Wesleyan). The three-game match was very tight, but in the end, Nunez prevailed (11-8, 11-5, and 11-7).
