Middletown, CT — At the 2011 Wesleyan Round Robin, Smith and Colgate played a match.
Colgate, an emerging club team, opened their season at the Wesleyan Round Robin. Colgate faced Wesleyan, Smith, William Smith, and Mount Holyoke. They lost to all four teams, but gained valuable experience.
Smith finished the fall semester 5-6. At the Round Robin, they defeated Colgate and William Smith, but lost to Wesleyan, Mount Holyoke, and Tufts.
In the Colgate/Smith match, Colgate’s Sarah Bassett and Smith’s Clair Oblamski played. Both players are captains of their respective squads. Oblamski won the match in three games (11-7, 11-3, and 11-1).
