2011 Women’s College Squash Video: Ramsay Cup – First Consolation Final

Hanover, NH — At the 2011 Women’s College Squash Individual Championships, the Ramsay Cup (“A” Division) first consolation final featured two Harvard players — Natasha Kingshott and Cecelia Cortes.

To reach the consolation finals, Cortes lost to Logan Greer (Yale) in the main draw before beating Jennifer Pelletier (Trinity), Hannah Conant (Dartmouth), and Pia Trikha (Penn).

In her journey to the consolation fina, Kingshott lost to Pamela Hathway (Trinity), before defeating Jesse Pacheco (Cornell), June Tiong (Harvard), and Cheri-Ann Parris (Bates).

Ultimately, Cortes defeated Kingshott in four games (5-11, 11-8, 11-8, 11-6). Cortes, a junior, went 17-1 over the course of the season, while Kingshott completed her sophomore campaign at 14-4. Both players were named Second Team All-Americans.
