Tufts: 2009-2010 Men’s College Squash Season Preview

tuftsMedford, MA — Tufts University is a unique varsity squash program.  It has consistently maintained a ranking in the top 20, but it does not have international (regulation) squash courts.  This fact makes each win more remarkable.  The team has the occasional home match; however, these matches are held at locations like Harvard or MIT.

Coach Doug Eng will be joined by new assistant coach Belkys Velez.  Velez is from Ecuador and played on the WISPA tour.

This season’s team will be captained by Max Dalury and Zach Bradley.  Last season, the Jumbos graduated its lowest three ladder positions.  With the return of Kevin Fitzgerald and John Subranni and the additions of Sheldon Taylor and Chris Stoj to the lineup, the experienced Jumbos will be ready for competition.
