Brown: 2009 – 2010 Men’s College Squash Season Preview

brownProvidence, RI –The Brown Bears concluded last season by defeating the Naval Academy to win the Hoehn Cup consolation final.  With the top eight players returning for this season, the Bears hope to move up in the rankings. Captains Adam Greenberg and Pat Davis will lead this effort.

Besides the returning eight players, Brown will welcome Ross Harrow back from injury.  The Bears will also benefit from a number of incoming freshman, who are anticipated to compete for spots in the ladder: Minsoo Chi, Chris Holter,  Alex Hsu, Eamon O’Connor, and Riyad Seervai.

The team’s depth may prove the difference in its key matches with Bates, Amherst, Bowdoin, Navy, and F&M.

For the first time in twenty years, Coach le Gassick and the team will play without Shay Lynch, who recently retired as Brown’s assistant coach.
