Philadelphia, PA — There is excitement in the air at Drexel University. Two new squash courts are scheduled for completion this season. This will be a tremendous enhancement for the Drexel Dragons, and the team is looking forward to hosting matches in its new facility.
The Drexel women hope to grow their team to a full nine players and compete in the Epps Cup this season. They have five players returning from last season. In addition, they will be joined by first-year students Kelly-May Barber and Sarah O’Brien. After taking last year off from squash, Katey Whyte is returning to the team as well.
This spring, both the men’s and women’s teams participated in a Philadelphia clean up project with the SquashSmarts program.
