Georgetown: 2015 – 2016 Men’s College Squash Season Preview

Georgetown UniversityWashington, DC — Last season, Georgetown fell in the rankings prior to Team Championships, but they took advantage of their top seeding and made it to the finals of the Chaffee Cup. The Hoyas are very optimistic about the upcoming season. They are focused on matches with rival club teams, especially Bucknell, Johns Hopkins, and a rematch with Denison. Georgetown wants to defeat these squads and claim the status of the CSA’s top club program. This could be a challenging goal since they lost four players to graduation, including their top 3 players from last season’s Team Championships. The remaining players will need to step up and improve the win percentage of the top 3 from last season to make the goal a reality. In addition, Georgetown did not perform well in close matches last season, a situation to watch as the Hoyas attempt to become a contender for the top club title.
