Philadelphia, PA — Maccabi USA is looking for Jewish male squash players ages 17-34 to compete in the Men’s Open squash competition at the Maccabiah Australia International Games, which will be held in Sydney in late December.
A number of college squash players have represented the USA in past Maccabiah Games. Last summer, Rusty Feldman (Yale 2010), Jeremy Herrmann (Williams 2011), Sarah Odell (Wellesley 2010), Josh Schwartz (Yale 2005), and Zeke Scherl (Harvard 2013) competed in the 18th World Maccabiah Games in Israel.
A women’s squash team is not being sent to Australia, but Maccabi USA will field a women’s team for European Maccabiah Games, which will be held in Vienna next July.
