Happy New Year! The holiday break is over, and the 2025–2026 college squash season is ready to launch into its second half. While December provided a brief respite, the intensity ramps up as teams return this week.

With two months of competition remaining before the CSA Championships, the season kicks back into full gear with an exciting stretch ahead featuring marquee matchups, big moments, and energy across the league.

The schedule wastes no time easing teams back into competition. In the West Coast a top-5 clash ensues, while back East, the Mid-Atlantic and New England regions are packed with NESCAC and Ivy League action.

#17 Middlebury College vs. #16 Franklin & Marshall College

No. 16 Franklin & Marshall travels north to face No. 17 Middlebury in a pivotal clash. F&M has held the upper hand recently, defeating the Panthers in the regular season last year and again 6–3 in the Hoehn Cup semifinals at Nationals. With just one ranking spot separating the programs, Middlebury will look to reverse that trend on home court, while the Diplomats aim to maintain their edge over their NESCAC foe.

#15 Williams College vs. #14 Georgetown University

Williams hosts Georgetown in a rematch of last season’s Kurtz Cup semifinal, where the Hoyas edged the Ephs in a razor-thin 5–4 decision. However, the Williams lineup looks fundamentally different this semester with the return of six players who were studying abroad during the fall. No. 14 Georgetown travels to Williamstown looking to replicate their success, while No. 15 Ephs aim to prove their full strength roster belongs higher in the rankings.
