CSA Weekly Rankings Update: Week 6 Results

On the men’s side, Princeton delivered one of the biggest results of the week with a narrow 5-4 victory over Yale. This crucial win propelled Princeton into the #2 spot, solidifying their place as one of the top contenders in the league. Dartmouth also made headlines with a critical win over Tufts, moving them into the #10 position. This shift is particularly significant as it places Dartmouth within the top 12, the qualification threshold for the National Team Championships.

Middlebury recorded the largest ranking leap of the week, climbing from #20 to #17 after an impressive win over Navy. Amherst also continued their strong play, defeating Navy and advancing to #16 in the rankings. In other noteworthy results, Bowdoin’s victory over St. Lawrence lifted them to #22, while Conn College broke into the top 28 following their win over Hamilton, who subsequently dropped to #29.

The women’s side saw equally impactful shifts, with Princeton making a major statement by defeating Trinity. This upset not only moved Princeton into the #2 position but also served as redemption for their loss to Trinity in last year’s National Championship final. This landmark result elevated Tufts to #11, marking a significant milestone for the program. Amherst added to their momentum with a win over Georgetown, advancing to #13, while Hamilton defeated Conn College to climb to #27 in the rankings.
