In an exciting weekend of college squash, Dickinson College Red Devils triumphed in both the men’s and women’s CSA Matches of the Week. The #21-ranked Dickinson women secured a 6-3 victory over #22-ranked Denison, while the #28-ranked Dickinson men edged out #29-ranked Denison in a closely contested 5-4 match.
The women’s match demonstrated Dickinson’s ability to capitalize on key moments. Denison put up a formidable challenge, maintaining competitive pressure throughout the lineup. However, despite this strong effort, Dickinson’s strength across the lineup proved decisive.
The men’s contest was equally compelling, with multiple matches extending to five games. Both teams delivered strong performances, keeping the result uncertain until the final round of matches. Dickinson’s depth ultimately secured the win, while Denison’s efforts highlighted their competitiveness against higher-ranked opponents.
Dickinson head coach Richard Glanfield praised his teams for their resilience and determination. “I could not be more proud of both the men’s and women’s teams for their performances this weekend. Every player showed tremendous spirit and determination to come through victorious in some extremely tough matches.
