CSA Individual Championships Hits the Grand Stage at the 2025 J.P. Morgan Tournament of Champions in NYC

The College Squash Association (CSA) is thrilled to announce that the 2025 CSA Individual Championships will take place alongside the prestigious J.P. Morgan Tournament of Champions in New York City. This exciting partnership brings the top college squash players to the iconic Grand Central Terminal, offering a unique opportunity to showcase CSA’s athletes at one of squash’s most celebrated professional tournaments.

The Individual Championships are scheduled from Saturday, January 25, through Tuesday, January 28. We are proud to partner with Open Squash – FiDi to host the early-round matches on Saturday and Sunday. The action then moves to the Tournament of Champions (ToC) Glass Court in Grand Central Terminal, where the Pool and Ramsay division Semifinals will take place on Monday, January 27, starting at 11:30 a.m. The Finals for these divisions are set for Tuesday, January 28, at 1:30 p.m. on the Glass Court.

Fans unable to attend can catch the excitement from anywhere, as the Semifinals and Finals will be streamed live on SquashTV.

“We’re thrilled to bring the CSA Individual Championships to New York City in conjunction with the J.P. Morgan Tournament of Champions,” said Harry Smith, Commissioner of the CSA. “This unique timing will allow our athletes to perform at peak form mid-season, and the chance to compete in one of the world’s most iconic squash venues is an unforgettable experience. Partnering with the ToC will amplify the excitement of college squash and expand the tournament’s reach.”

“We’re also excited to partner with Open Squash – FiDi to host the early-round matches,” added Smith. “Their state-of-the-art facility provides the perfect environment for our players to compete and highlights the incredible squash community in New York City.”

Traditionally, the Individual Championships followed the CSA’s season-ending National Team Championships, requiring a quick turnaround for athletes. Moving the event to mid-season allows athletes to compete at their best, enabling the CSA to highlight the depth of college squash talent and deliver a premier experience for fans. This partnership with the Tournament of Champions offers unparalleled exposure for players, their collegiate programs, and the College Squash Association as a whole.

This adjustment would not be possible without the support of John Nimick, Tournament Chairman and Director of the Tournament of Champions. The CSA is incredibly grateful to John for his role in bringing this vision to life.

“This addition of the CSA Individual Championships is a groundbreaking development for the Tournament of Champions, as well as college squash,” said John Nimick, Tournament Chairman and Director of the Tournament of Champions. “Showcasing the top collegiate players on the Glass Court in Grand Central is a fabulous opportunity.”

Tickets for all Tournament of Champions sessions, including the CSA Individual Championships matches on the Glass Court, are now available for purchase on the ToC website.
