Varsity 

  • No. 1 Trinity beat No. 4 Princeton 5-4 in an exciting CSA Women’s Match of the Week. The Tigers came out strong on their home turf and took the first three games. Shortly after, Trinity got on the board and the teams tied up at 4 all. The match came down to the No. 9 position as they headed into their fifth game. In a packed house, the women fought hard but Trinity secured the 3-2 win securing the Bantam’s No. 1 ranked position. 
  • No. 3 Princeton won a tough match against No. 4 Yale in the CSA Men’s Match of the Week. The match came down to the very last moments of a five-game at the No. 7 position. It was a back and forth battle from the beginning, but the Tigers pulled through to take home the victory on their home courts. The Princeton men remain undefeated at home for the 2022-2023 season.
  • The No. 22 Hobart Statesmen conclude their regular season with a win over No. 20 Colby. In a close contest with several 5 game matches, Hobart pulled through in the middle of the ladder with wins at 3,4,5,6. The Statesmen No. 1 position secured a clutch 3-2 win and another 3-0 win at the 8 position to top off the 6-3 victory.
  • No. 13 Western Ontario upset No. 11 Chatham in a tough 5-4 battle in Annapolis on Sunday morning. It was a close battle throughout with wins from both teams at the top, middle and bottom of the ladder. 
  • The No. 23 St. Lawrence men defeated No. 20 Colby at home this weekend. St. Lawrence dominated the top and bottom of the ladder with wins at 1,2,3,8, and 9. The Saints also took a win at the 6 position ultimately beating Colby 6-3.

Club Teams

  • The Fordham University varsity team hosted Dartmouth College, Bucknell University and New York University in a successful round of matches this weekend.  
  • Washington &Lee hosted the first ever W&L Squash Invitational with visiting teams UVA and Duke. 
  • Men’s/Co-Ed Club teams Indiana University, Carnegie Mellon University, Michigan University and Washington University in St. Louis, met at Racquet Up in Detroit.
