- Vassar Head Coach David Ames is eager to get the season started and to show the improvement that he knows his young teams are capable of.
- The teams feature only three seniors between the two squads, meaning leadership and contributions will be spread throughout the team.
- As a boost, seven first-years – four women and three men – will infuse the teams with energy and skill to help set squads on a path to success this season.
