Bates College: 2022-2023 Season Preview

Bates College Bobcats

2022-2023 Season Preview

  • Both Bates teams found themselves mired in a logjam of competitive NESCAC teams last season, but fourth-year head coach Rei Hergeth is hoping they can rise closer to the top this year.
  • The women’s team returns their top four players and added some firepower at the top of the lineup through recruitment, so finish within the top 15 should be within their grasp.
  • The Bates men graduated their talisman Jesper Phillips in 2022, meaning they will rely on new faces to keep them in the top 25 of the men’s division.
