The Bowdoin Men’s Squash team won the Conroy Cup at last year’s CSA Men’s Team National Championships, upsetting top seed Hobart in the final. Coach Tomas Fortson’s team will look to build on that success as they embark on the 2018-2019 season on Nov. 1. Bowdoin loses three players from last year’s starting lineup – one from each section of the ladder – but adds three first-years who hope to slot into those roles. Just as importantly, they will have talented experience at the top of their ladder. Number 1 player Ian Squiers returns for his senior season after earning a First Team All-NESCAC nod last year, Bowdoin’s first First Team selection since 2014, and the third All-NESCAC award of Squiers’s career. Bowdoin will look to jump up into Summers Cup competition by taking down conference foes Colby and Williams in regular season matches.
