Christopher Fernandez Hired as Head Coach of Dickinson Squash

On Tuesday, October 9, 2018, Dickinson College announced the hire of Christopher Fernandez as the new head coach of their men’s and women’s squash programs.

A 2015 graduate of St. Lawrence University, Fernandez arrives at Dickinson from New York City, where he was the Director of Squash at CitySquash. He was also the head squash pro at the Boathouse Field Club.

Fernandez steps into the head coaching role at one of the fastest rising varsity squash programs in the College Squash Association. Both programs have received the CSA’s most improved team award in their short history, culminating with their highest program rankings last season. The women’s program received the 2018 Women’s Most Improved Team Award, jumping five spots to 18th at the end of season. Winners of Summers Cup in 2018, the men’s team finished the year at number 17.
