Lehigh: 2015 – 2016 Men’s College Squash Season Preview

Lehigh UniversityBethlehem, PA — As Lehigh begins the 2015 – 2016 season, the Mountain Hawks are looking to grow the sport of squash on campus. According to co-captain Max Liu, the team wants to “introduce Lehigh’s student body to squash through lessons and campus-wide tournaments.” Lehigh, the runner-up in the 2012 – 2013 Serues Cup (F Division), played in the Chaffee Cup (E Division) the past two seasons. If the Mountain Hawks want to move higher in the rankings they will need to increase the win percentage in the top and middle thirds of their ladder. The team is focused on scheduled matches with Boston College, Bucknell, Haverford, and MIT this season. If the Mountain Hawks’ five incoming players can offset the loss of their three non-returners, Lehigh may be able to move up in the rankings and play for a position in the upper half of the Chaffee Cup at Team Championships.
