Granville, OH — For years, Denison has had a successful men’s club program. Last season, Denison started a women’s program, and the team played one match, which they won against Washington in St. Louis. With that inaugural match as a stepping stone, Denison is ready to expand their schedule this season. The team is planning a trip to the University of Virginia for a round robin in January. In addition, they have plans to play Washington University in St. Louis, Notre Dame, and Vanderbilt, all teams that played in the E Division area of the rankings during the regular season last year. The Big Red have four international courts, which should help attract players to the new program. Let’s hope that this is the first of many successful seasons for Denison.
