Haverford: 2014 – 2015 Men’s College Squash Season Preview

Haverford CollegeHaverford, PA — Haverford has many roster spots to fill for the upcoming season. The Fords graduated five players from last season’s National Team Championships. Yet the top of last season’s ladder was underclassmen, which according to head coach Niki Clement, “was a great learning experience for those players and presented them with new experiences and more complex play on court. With another season under their belt, one of our team goals will be to use the experience we gained last season to our advantage this season.” Haverford has two recruits coming in, who are expected to fill top-9 ladder positions. Clement adds that “our team consistently brings a hunger to practice and a motivation to improve. I can already tell that the team is fired up for another great season.” The team is adding several new matches to its schedule, including nearby Dickinson College, the newest varsity member of the College Squash Association. With only one senior on this year’s squad, this season may be the beginning of something special for Haverford.
