Carlisle, PA — Dickinson is fully committed to college squash. The school decided to establish a varsity squash program a few years ago. They built five CourtTech courts, including a 2-wall glass show court, and hired Chris Sachvie as their first head coach. What is left before their inaugural season? Players, of course, and the Red Devils have players ready to represent Dickinson. Mansoor Ghoto, a senior, may be the most excited player. He only has a year to represent the Red Devils, but he is ready for the historic year. Sachvie outlines the team’s schedule: “We will play a good mix of club and varsity teams and want to be competitive with everyone. Each win will be the first win against that team in program history; a loss means we will have to wait till next year!” The Red Devils are excited to met Centennial Conference rivals Haverford and Franklin & Marshall. The beginning of Dickinson’s squash future starts this season.
