Princeton, NJ — At the 2014 Women’s College Squash Association National Team Championships, George Washington faced Columbia in the Kurtz Cup (B Division) finals.
Columbia defeated Hamilton and Bates to reach the finals. George Washington advanced with victories over Middlebury and a 5-4 victory against Brown in the semifinals. In the finals, every match was crucial.
At the match at the #1 position, George Washington’s Anna Porras faced Columbia’s Colette Sultana. Porras captured the match in three games (11-6, 11-3, and 11-8).
George Washington captured the Kurtz Cup with a 5-4 team victory.
