New Haven, CT — At the 2013 Women’s College Squash National Team Championships, George Washington and Columbia met in the opening round of the Kurtz Cup (B Division).
At the match at the #1 position, Anna Porras (George Washington) and Catherine Jenkins (Columbia) played. Porras captured the match in three games (11-4, 11-6, and 11-8). Columbia won the match, 8-1. The Lions advanced to the semifinals, but lost to Dartmouth. They beat Middlebury to close out the tournament. George Washington defeated Amherst in the consolation semifinals before falling to Williams.
