New Haven, CT — At the 2013 Women’s College Squash National Team Championships, Columbia and George Washington played in the opening round of the Kurtz Cup (B Division).
In the match at the #2 position, Reyna Pacheco (Columbia) and Jacqueline Shea (George Washington) played. Pacheco won the match in five games (7-11, 8-11, 11-7, 11-5, and 11-6), and Columbia advanced with an 8-1 team victory. The Lions lost to Dartmouth, but defeated Middlebury to close out the tournament. George Washington defeated Amherst, but lost to Williams in the consolation finals.
