Cambridge, MA — The College Squash Association, its players, and coaches support squash’s bid for inclusion in the 2020 Olympic games.

On Tuesday, Andre Agassi, the former world #1 tennis player and Olympic gold medalist, spoke at the Leadership Institute at Harvard College. After his speech on leadership on and off the court, Harvard squash players Ali Farag and Haley Mendez met Aggasi.

“I thought to print out one of the Back the Bid posters in the off chance that I would be able to see him after the talk and get him to support the bid.  AND HE DID!!!” Mendez tells CollegeSquashAssociation.com.

Agassi is quoted by the World Squash Federation as saying that “Squash is absolutely one of the best/toughest sports. The Games would be proud!”

The College Squash Association encourages everyone to support squash’s Olympic Bid. Follow the 2020 bid progress at Squash2020.com, tweet your support (#Vote4Squash), and like the bid’s Facebook page.
