Hanover, NH — Every two years, Dartmouth College hosts the Fall Classic. This year, this small tournament featured a number of schools, including Bowdoin, Franklin & Marshall, the Naval Academy, St. Lawrence, and Dartmouth.
At this year’s event, the Dartmouth women faced Bowdoin. This was the the Polar Bears’ opening match of the season. Dartmouth completed the tournament with three victories. They shutout St. Lawrence, Bowdoin, and Franklin & Marshall. Bowdoin also lost to Franklin & Marshall on the weekend. Dartmouth and Bowdoin return to action in January.
At the match at the #2 position, Sarah Loucks (Dartmouth) faced Rachel Barnes (Bowdoin). The two played a close three-game match with Loucks prevailing (11-8, 11-8, and 11-7). Here is video from the match.
