Nashville, TN — D Division teams take note: watch out for Vanderbilt. After winning the Serues Cup (F Division) in 2009, the Commodores captured the Chaffee Cup (E Division) in 2010 with a 5-4 win over Boston University. This season they’ll only be stronger: all the players from last year’s squad are returning, and former number 1 Michael Kofsky is back from study abroad in Florence.
“His addition should improve our team as we look to build on last season’s success,” says captain Tyler Kopp, who along with Kofsky, co-captain Austin Schiff, Zachary Hoyt, and David Woo make up a core group of seniors leading the team. “This season is full of promise for the Commodores.”
