Hartford, CT — In February at the 2011 Women’s New England Small College Athletic Conference’s (NESCAC) Squash Championships, Wesleyan and Williams met in the quarterfinals of the tournament.
In the match at the number 7 position, Eliana Saltzman (Williams) defeated Jenny Chu (Wesleyan) in three games (11-5, 11-9, and 11-6). As a team, Williams shutout the Cardinals. The Ephs finished the tournament in third place.
Chu, a finalist for the Wetzel Award, concluded her college squash career with 2 victories at the Women’s Team Championships (Howe Cup). She helped lead the Cardinals to 19th place in the final team rankings. Williams finished tenth in the final rankings.
