Order of Play

For the first time, the order of play will be randomized and then rotated for each day of the CSA Team Championships. This is in line with the practice used in international team competitions and will give every player the opportunity to play in each match position over the course of the tournament.

The numbers in the order below represent the player’s position in their team’s lineup.

Friday, Feb. 28 Saturday, Feb. 29 Sunday, Mar. 1
First court – 1, 3, 2 First court – 3, 2, 1 First court – 2, 1, 3
Second court – 4, 6, 5 Second court – 6, 5, 4 Second court – 5, 4, 6

National Championship Final Played to Decision

Like in the Howe Cup final this past weekend, the Potter Cup final scheduled for Sunday afternoon at Harvard will be played to decision. That is, once a team earns five individual match wins, the championship is clinched and the team match will end. (Individual matches still on court may be played to completion, but no new matches should commence.)

Playing to decision in the national team championship finals is a pilot initiative voted in by the coaches and approved by the CSA Board of Directors on a provisional basis.

Live Stream Video from the Championships

Courts 1 through 6 at Harvard University were livestreamed with commentary on the College Squash YouTube page throughout the tournament.
