Varsity Teams
- No. 17 Middlebury beat No. 19 Georgetown in the CSA Women’s Match of the Week on Friday afternoon at the U.S. Naval Academy. Middlebury returned strong from the break as they gained a crucial player back and ultimately defeated the Hoya’s 7-2.
- No. 23 Middlebury defeated No. 25 Navy in the CSA Men’s Match of the Week on Friday afternoon at the U.S. Naval Academy. While Navy took the top 3 matches, Middlebury’s depth secured wins at 4,5,6,7, and 8. Unfortunately, a season ending injury has cost Navy a key player, giving Middlebury the 6-3 victory. With the win, the Panthers sit at 5-0 marking their best start to a season in program history.
- No. 24 Hobart men overcame No. 22 Bowdoin in a 7-2 battle at home. The Hobart men competed in several close matches throughout the middle of the ladder but came out on top with wins at 2,3,4,6,7,8, and 9.
- Returning the favor, No. 16 Bowdoin women upset No. 13 William Smith on the road this weekend. In one of the most tightly contested matches of the season, Bowdoin’s number 9 player picked up a 3-0 win to clinch the 5-4 victory.
- No. 25 St. Lawrence women defeat No. 22 Bates in an exciting 5-4 match. St. Lawrence hosted Bates on Monday where they dominated the bottom of the ladder. While Bates took the first 4 matches, St. Lawrence swept the bottom of the lineup with wins at 5,6,7,8, and 9.
- The No. 18 Williams men’s team bounced back from a tough end to 2022 with an away upset over No. 15 Franklin & Marshall. The win is one of many unexpected results in the middle of the CSA men’s rankings, which should make for an exciting run-in to the championships.

- There were no Club Team matches in Week 6.
