St. Lawrence University: 2021-2022 Season Preview

St. Lawrence University Saints

2021-2022 SEASON PREVIEW

  • There is perhaps no other team that is looking forward to getting back on court for regular training and competition more than Scott Denne’s St. Lawrence Saints teams. The last two years has presented immense challenges, but Coach Denne has the teams back on the rise and ready to compete.
  • The teams will dedicate this season to their fallen teammate, Enzo Corigliano, who tragically passed away in late 2020.
  • The women’s team will make a strong push to be the best team in the Liberty League this year, which they also hope will mean that they are firmly placed in the national Top 24. Eight newcomers will join five returning starters in that pursuit.
  • The men’s team are on the Barnaby Award watch, looking to make the biggest jump in rankings from one year to the next. They will be young and light on match experience, but their large crop of incoming talent will be eager to make waves against unwitting opponents from the outset of the season.
