Fordham: 2015 – 2016 Men’s College Squash Season Preview

Fordham UniversityBronx, NY — After finishing the 2013 – 2014 season ranked 52nd in the nation, Fordham surprised many by moving up to 39th at the conclusion of last season. The Rams were spurred on by a solid top 3, who captured over two-thirds of their matches. If the middle and lower thirds of the ladder can improve their winning percentage, Fordham could achieve head coach Bryan Paterson’s goal. “We are on the up and are looking to make it into the top 30,” Patterson explains. The team will be led by co-captains Kincade Webster and Jimmy Shinnick. The Rams will be touring England in early 2016, which should increase the team chemistry and provide valuable training. The Rams are expecting matches with Colgate, Haverford, and NYU to be critical to the season. Hopefully, last season’s upward trajectory will continue for Fordham as they drive for a spot in the Conroy Cup.
