Sports Illustrated’s Faces in the Crowd Covers Trinity First-Year Student

Trinity CollegeHartford, CT — In the recent (3/17/2014) issue of Sports Illustrated, Trinity College first-year student Anna Kimberley was recognized in the “Faces in the Crowd” section of the magazine. Dating to 1956, “Faces in the Crowd” has featured thousands of top amateur athletes.

With the National Championship between Harvard and Trinity tied at 4-4, Kimberley defeated Saumya Karki to give the Bantams their first national title since the 2003 season.

In recent years, numerous College Squash Association Athletes have been featured in “Faces in the Crowd” including St. Lawrence’s Amr Khaled Khalifa (March 2013), Harvard’s Amanda Sobhy (March 2012), Princeton’s Todd Harrity (March 2012), Navy’s Andrew McGuinness (February 2012), Harvard’s Laura Gemmell (June 2010), and Conn College’s Antonio Diaz-Gonzalez Salas (March 2009).
