Cambridge, MA — At the 2012 Women’s College Squash Association National Team Championships, Columbia and Franklin & Marshall played in the Kurtz Cup (B Division) consolation semifinals.
The match at the #1 position featured Alisha Maity (Columbia) and Morgan Smith (Franklin & Marshall). After the first game, the match was incredibly close going to tie-breakers in the final two games. Maity won the match in three games (11-2, 12-10, and 12-10).
Columbia captured the team match and defeated Mount Holyoke to finish 13th in the nation. Franklin & Marshall defeated Hamilton to conclude the season ranked 15th.
