Princeton, NJ — At the 2011 Women’s College Squash Association National Team Championships (Howe Cup), Cornell and Harvard faced off in the opening round of the Howe Cup (“A” Division).
The match at the #2 ladder position was between senior Jennifer Gemmell (Cornell) and junior Nirasha Gurgue (Harvard). The two played a tight three-game match, with Gurgue eventually winning (11-4, 11-3, and 11-9). Cornell went on to finish 7th in the Howe Cup, while Harvard lost to Yale 4-5 in the national championship match.
