2011 Chafee Award Selection Process

Northampton, MA — Each season, the Chaffee Award is presented to a women’s varsity squash team and coach who best represent the ideals around which Clarence Chaffee built his teams: sportsmanship, teamwork, character/friendliness, work ethic, and improvement.

Coaches should discuss with their teams which team they feel is deserving of this award. At the 2011 Women’s National Team Championships (Howe Cup) coaches will cast their team’s single vote.

Last season, Colby College, coached by Sakhi Khan, won the Chaffee Award.  For a complete list of past winning teams, please visit the Chaffee Award page.
