2010-2011 Dunlop Men’s College Squash Team Rankings (1/31/2011)

After achieving its highest ranking to date, Middlebury lost to St. Lawrence, which created a triangle between Bates, Middlebury, and St. Lawrence. St. Lawrence won 10 matches (6 against Middlebury, 4 against Bates), Bates won 9 matches (5 against St. Lawrence, 4 against Middlebury), and Middlebury won 8 matches (5 against Bates, 3 against St. Lawrence).  As a result, St. Lawrence takes over 13th, Bates moves to 14th, and Middlebury falls to 15th.  The Hoehn (“B” Division) of the Men’s National Team Championships looks to have many exciting match-ups.

Positions 50 through 61 of the rankings remain extremely fluid. As a result of a round robin hosted by Hamilton College, many teams in this area of the rankings moved.

Coaches and Team Contacts, please remember to enter your team’s results in the US Squash Scoring System on the day of each match. The following teams are not ranked due to not entering scores in the US Squash Scoring System: Lafayette and North Carolina. Presuming their results are posted, these teams will be eligible to reenter the rankings at the next ranking release.

In addition, as stated in the Men’s College Squash Association Bylaws, each men’s team must complete six matches to compete in the Men’s National Team Championships. (This applies to teams intending to compete in the nine-player divisions at nationals and not to teams intending to compete in the five-player Emerging Teams division.)
