Honoring Zena Wooldridge, OBE
President of the World Squash Federation
The 2026 Honoree is Zena Wooldridge OBE, a driving force behind squash's successful bid for inclusion in the LA28 Olympic Games. Zena is an experienced leader in sports management with a distinguished 35-year career, primarily in the university sector, where she combined her passions for sport, education, and leadership.
Zena has contributed to the sport at all levels—from grassroots to the global stage—including serving as Chair of England Squash and President of both European Squash and now World Squash. She was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in 2009 for services to sport. As World Squash President, Zena has worked to unite the international squash community around a bold strategic vision, culminating in squash’s long-awaited Olympic breakthrough. She is one of only four women leading an International Federation included in the LA28 Olympic program.
