London, ON — After concluding the 2013 – 2014 season with a 9-7 record and a fourth place finish in the Hoehn Cup (B Division) at Team Championships, Western Ontario recognizes that it may have challenges this season. The squad will be without four players from last year’s Team Championships. Head coach Strachan Jarvis, who is replacing Dave Morrish, states that “2014 – 2015 will be a transition year for UWO after losing four players within the top 9 of the lineup — Albert Shoihet, Adrian Ostbye, Adam Engel and Devin Hinckey. With those departures, Western will lean on a group of players who have made tremendous progress in their respective games over the past 12 months.” The team is focused on matches with Williams, George Washington, Cornell, and Drexel. These squads range from the lower half of last season’s Potter Cup (A Division) through the upper portion of the Summers Cup (C Division). These matches should serve as a barometer to the Mustangs’ strength this season
