Second 2017-2018 CSA Team Rankings Released

The College Squash Association has released the second regular season rankings for the 2017-2018 season. Rankings will be released every two weeks, reflecting results from match play through that point in the season.

There was a shake-up in the top five of the women’s rankings after Stanford’s upset of Penn 6-3 on November 18. Penn drops from No. 2 to No. 5, while Stanford moves up a position to No.4. Princeton moves up to No. 3 based on their win over Stanford in the same weekend. Harvard maintains the top position in the rankings, and will open their season against Dartmouth on Wednesday, December 6.

The middle of the women’s rankings also saw changes after Connecticut College’s win over Bates. Bates drops eight positions to No. 23 while Connecticut College moves up three spots to No. 25.

On the men’s side, Western Ontario jumps a position to No. 12 based on their 6-3 win over Cornell on November 18. The Mustangs have opened the season with a 5-1 record, with their only loss coming to the No. 6-ranked University of Rochester.
