Williams: 2015 – 2016 Women’s College Squash Season Preview

Williams CollegeWilliamstown, MA — Williams knows that the competition in the Kurtz Cup (B Division) is getting stronger every year. That doesn’t mean that the Ephs are willing to give up their spot in the rankings. According to co-captain and sole senior returning from last season’s starting nine, Nicole Feshbach, “Our team goals are to be competitive in the B Division where we hope to maintain or improve upon our ranking in an increasingly talented pool of teams. In addition, we wish to reach the finals of NESCACs again.” Williams is a young squad that should improve this season. Last year, the Ephs’ top 2 players were first-year students. With a year under their belts, the entire squad will be ready to face all challengers, such as Bates, Brown, Dartmouth, Drexel, and Middlebury. As they seek their seventeenth consecutive Little Three Championships, look for the Ephs to be in contention for the top half of the Kurtz Cup.
