Northampton, MA — On the weekend of January 16th – 18th, the 2015 Pioneer Valley Invitational was hosted by Amherst College, Mount Holyoke College, and Smith College.
Smith hosted Conn College on the second day of the three-day event. At the match at the #1 position, Smith senior Jacqueline Zhou faced Conn College junior Ashley Arthur. The two played a close match, which Zhou won in three games (11-9, 11-8, and 11-6).
Conn College captured the team match, 8-1.
At the Pioneer Valley Invitational, Conn College went 2-2, with victories over Colby and Smith. Smith College went 0-4 at the event as they hosted Bowdoin, Colby, Conn College, and Drexel.
