Middletown, CT – At the 2014 Wesleyan Round Robin in mid-November, William Smith and Mount Holyoke played one of the late Saturday morning matches.
At the match at the #1 position, Jocelyn McKenzie (William Smith) faced Brandy Williamson (Mount Holyoke). The part of first year students each hail from New York City and have been at the top of their respective teams’ ladders since the season began. The two played a tight four-game match, which McKenzie won (11-13, 12-10, 12-10, and 11-8). William Smith won the team match, 8-1.
At the Wesleyan Round Robin, William Smith went 3-1, with victories over Mount Holyoke, Smith College, and Tufts. Mount Holyoke went 2-2 at the round robin, earning victories over Smith College and Tufts.
