Penn: 2014 – 2015 Women’s College Squash Season Preview

Pennsylvania, University ofPhiladelphia, PA — Penn was so close last season. The Ivy League title and National Championship were within striking distance but ultimately eluded the Quakers. This season, the team will be motivated. They are focused on their match ups with Harvard, Princeton, Yale, and Trinity. They will replace their two graduates from Team Championships with three players expected to compete for positions in the lower half of the line-up.  The Quakers will be heading west in January. The team will visit Palo Alto, California, for a training trip and to face Stanford. From last year’s team championship line-up, Penn only has two players returning who are seniors, captain Leslie Gill (#10) and Colleen Fehm (#11). This could be Penn’s year for the title, which would be their first since 2000. With a plethora of young talent, the Quakers may have multiple seasons to contend for the title.
