College Squash Reminders (2/9/2013)

On Saturday, the e-mail below was sent to CSA coaches, team contacts, and Sports Information Directors.

Coaches, Team Contacts, SIDs,

A few reminders…

  • Blizzard Match Updates: If a match was cancelled or rescheduled due to the blizzard in the Northeast, please modify your schedule in the US Squash Scoring System.
  • Women’s Team Rankings: Due to Women’s National Team Championships, women’s team rankings will be reviewed on Sunday (2/10) night at 8 PM. Please enter your match scores prior to Sunday at 8 PM.
  • Rosters for Team Championships: Team Coaches are required to submit their rosters, in order of play, for the Team Championships on the Monday immediately before the tournament. Women’s Team Championships rosters are due on Monday, February 11th by 12:00pm EST. Men’s Team Championships rosters are due on Monday, February 18th by 12:00pm EST. Any teams that do not submit their rosters by the deadline must play with the roster order in the last match played prior to the Team Championships by that team. The roster submission form for the Men will be released and communicated on Tuesday, February 12th.
  • Men’s Team Rankings: The ranking committee will be reviewing results on Monday evening. If your results are not posted to the US Squash Scoring System, they will not be considered for ranking purposes. Without results in the US Squash Scoring System, your team will not be credited appropriately. At most, you have 48 hours after a match is played to submit results. In addition, the sooner results are submitted to the US Squash Scoring System, the greater the chance that your team is mentioned in the Sunday evening “Around the Courts” article. Here are instructions on adding a match to the US Squash Scoring System: http://csasquash.com/wp-content/uploads/New-Site-CSA-coach-score-entry-documentation.pdf
