Hanover, NH — At the 2011 Men’s College Squash Individual Championships, the Molloy Cup (“B” Division) round of 32 featured John Steele (Wesleyan) and Nigel Koh (Harvard).
In his first year at Wesleyan, Steele played number one. He earned second-team All-NESCAC honors and was named NESCAC Rookie of the Year. Wesleyan concluded the season ranked 20th.
Koh, also a freshman, went 13-6 on the season. He reached the semifinals of the Molloy Cup. He helped Harvard finish the season ranked 5th in the nation.
In their four game match, Steele won the first game; however, Koh won the final three games to capture the match (9-11, 11-4, 11-8, and 11-2).
