Princeton, NJ — In April, the Ivy League announced the student athletes who received 2010-2011 Winter All-Academic honors.
Four men’s and six women’s college squash players were among the 80 individuals who earned the distinction. Each Ivy League school nominated ten players who earned a 3.0 or better cumulative grade point average and started on a varsity team.
Dartmouth senior captain Hannah Conant was named to her third consecutive Academic All-Ivy team. Conant, who played number 2 for the Big Green this season, majored in psychology.
The other players who were recognized are all first-time recipients of Academic All-Ivy honors. However, Conant, Julie Cerullo (Princeton), Alex Domenick (Cornell), Chris Hanson (Dartmouth), Laura Gemmell (Harvard), Annie Madeira (Penn), and Sarah Toomey (Yale) were all named to the 2010-2011 men’s and women’s All-Ivy teams, with Gemmell being named Player of the Year.
Congratulations to all who earned Academic All-Ivy honors!
