Wellesley, MA — Wellesley College is seeking an assistant coach for its women’s squash team.

JOB POST

Women’s Squash Responsibilities: Assist the head coach in the coaching, organization and administration of the program including but not limited to practice and match preparation; attending all practices and scheduled matches; academic and athletics support for students; recruiting assistance; drilling with and playing team members; video-taping and match analysis; organization and implementation of fundraising activities.
This is a part-time position (compensated for 20 weeks) that will also provide opportunities to earn more while working in strength & conditioning (CSCS certification required), fitness (AFFA certified, weight watchers instructor, teaching physical education classes), recreation & intramurals (organizing intramural activities, assisting with outdoor activities, organizing special events, teaching recreational classes), and facilities & operations (front desk operations, equipment management, customer service). Salary and benefits will commensurate with responsibility.

Requirements: A bachelors degree is required but a masters degree is preferred. Assistant teaching professional or highly ranked college level playing experience preferred. US Squash Level I teaching certificate preferred but not required. CPR, AED, and First Aid certification required upon hire.
