2010 NESCAC Men’s Squash Championship Tournament: Saturday

Hartford, CT — The No. 1-seeded Trinity College Bantams and the No. 2-seeded Williams College Ephs will square off in the NESCAC Men’s Squash Championship match on Sunday.

Trinity and Williams have met in the final match of the NESCAC tournament in each of the past three seasons with Trinity emerging victorious in all three.

There were no upsets in Saturday’s action.  Williams’ ticket to the final was punched with a 6-3 win over No. 3 Bates, who won the top three spots in the contest, and a 9-0 victory over No. 6 Amherst earlier in the day. Trinity defeated both No. 9 Hamilton and No. 4 Bowdoin 8-1 to earn their championship game bid.

The NESCAC Championship match between Trinity and Williams will take place at the George A. Kellner Squash Center on the campus of Trinity College at 1:30 PM on Sunday. The third-place match between No. 3 Bates and No. 4 Bowdoin will take place at noon.
